1881 Coffee Cafe

Nice place, smallish, places to sit, friendly staff. Closes for winter starting around Nov 1st.I don't drink coffee, though the person I was with said it was good. No coco or tea....that I saw.

A freat stop in Bridgeport. Great coffee, awesome staff, stunning old building.

Absolutely marvelous place for a coffee stop. A must if you come to Bridgeport. You can get there a better iced coffee than at Starbucks!

Delicious coffee and super friendly staff. We came at the end of the season so not much selection of baked goods, but the danishes we're delicious!

The barista pulled my shots and then ran to the back to grab iced coffee, left them sitting there for a while. When I tried asking her to pull me new shots and pour them on hot water not to dump water on the top, she just put water in and put the old shots on it!!! It tasted so gross and weak. My aunts cold brew coffee had no ice; we had to stop and get some. The gal was nice but the coffee was sub-par. She was young so maybe just not well training on coffee.

Needed a place with wifi and a table to set up computer in order to get some business done before a.5 day backpacking ttip. Cute place, very accomodating server.

It's cute and they make very good espresso (by Bridgeport standards according to the friendly barista). Very pleasant, would go again, but don't come here if you're looking for a quick in-and-out!
